2. Decide like-for-like vs successor family
Where the exact reference is unavailable, the practical route is a successor or alternative family with the closest frame and rating - for example within the ACS510/ACS550 lines or the ACS580 family, and across the PSR/PSE/PSTX soft starter families - but every substitution needs an explicit engineering comparison of electrical ratings, control interfaces and mounting. Require the supplier to state in writing which parameters were matched and which remain for your own verification.
